H22M :)

Since the last time i've posted, it's been pretty eventful :) 

August 10th, marks the 22nd month with babe :) The day started off, Jordan running a bit late to pick me up. He didn't arrive until at least 3:30 pm. So first thing we did was stop by Corner 23 to order bubble tea. It was pretty funny because i was trying to order babe's favorite (蜂蜜綠茶) in english... it got a bit confusing so i ordered in mandarin. At least in the end, she understood. /proudface 

Since we were going to be on broadway, i told babe to wait in the apartment, so i can stop by Deserres to get the canvases. I also renewed my creative card back to student status! AND got a discount off today's purchase because of the points i saved up from previous purchases. What a lovely surprise!

After we were done, Jordan dropped me off with Charlie. Haha, Jordan needed to use washroom so we all headed up to the apartment together. As we entered, i see this....

So, we saw Jordan off and we went back to the apartment to sit for awhile before heading to the pool. It felt good because i feel like i was actually making progress. Maybe learning how to swim isn't completely hopeless. We were enjoying our time until a father with 3 young boys came. They were SO FUCKING loud. It doesn't help that pools are generally very echo-y too. We dipped in the hot tub for a bit before leaving. It's alright, by then we were too hungry anyways. Went back to the apartment to shower & whatnot and left. 

We got back to Kerrisdale and got dinner at Nandos. It was a pretty busy day and one guy waited so long, he ended up just leaving without his meal. Dang. I feel bad for him because we got our food RIGHT after he left. :) following dinner, we went to the deer bakery next door to get some discounted buns before heading over to his current place. We all gathered in Austin's room for a "bedframe and memory foam" discussion. HAHAHAHAHA.
