I'm so bored!! Babe and i are waiting for 5am, then he'll leave his house to come over to pick me up. Were going to head to QE park to see the sunrise! hopefully it's high enough. I have a spot in mind :) I have my tripod and camera ready!
So today is his birthday! :) Here's a run down of the day... After sunrise, we might go to Denny's for his free birthday grand slam! followed by many hours of naps at his place. We'll get up for lunch, probably stop by MCD to get some food! then the most exciting part! I'm going to be cooking dinner! i'm nervous, yet excited ! I have a whole bag of stuff to bring over including the fry pan and pot LOL. Yeah, after dinner we'll going to watch "the vow" (I've been waiting to see it! he finally found the download for it!) probably won't stay too long after, because we'll be so exhausted! :P but it'll be a good birthday!
Yesterday, Saturday was a very good day! in fact this whole weekend has gone by smoothly. all my planning is (almost) paid off ;)! We had a great time bowling, and playing at the arcade and having dinner !!

First off, Kyle went to pick Monique up! Charlie picked me up and we met there. We played one game of 10 pin bowling (in cosmic!) and then went to the Famous Player across from us, to play some arcade games since dinner at the old spaghetti factory was about a 40 min wait. Monique and I went for a round of racing! i won :) and the boys played DDR! i wish i was there to watch that though. Afterwards, we all had a 'shot' at shooting hoops! and then a round of air hockey. Timing could've have been more perfect! as we were heading out, elsa phoned and she was outside waiting for us! Dinner was actually pretty good :) although, the spaghetti was disappointing. I guess homemade is always the best. Oh wells! the two appetizers that babe chose were super good :) and for our entree, we also had ice cream :) It was a good dinner over all.
After dinner, we went for round 2 of bowling! :) Elsa joined us this time! One of the guys working there recognized us so e let us rent the shoes for free! since 10 pin was about a 20 min. wait, we decided to go for 5 pin. Surprisingly it was easier than expected. There's no doubt it was a girl's game.
We finish around 930? So we all just headed home! Thanks guys for coming =) really appreciate it! BTW, have a safe trip driving back home! we'll see you in a week :) or so.
I was so sore by the end of the night lol.
Babe and I played terraria for a bit to kill time... by 530 AM, he got to my house and we headed to QE. The spot i had in mind was good but the weather, not so much. It was so cloudy. Next time, were going to go back to the same spot, but on a CLEAR SKY! but it was nice nonetheless! :) Thanks for the ice tea, so thoughtful !Since Denny's has the free grand slam on birthdays, that's exactly what we did. :) I got the chicken strips since i thought that was something "light" LOL but hey, it was very delicious! It was nice to have breakfast together!
After that, we went back to his place and crashed. We woke up at 3pm !! I was so hungry... so babe made me some wedge fries and watched jeopardy :) so simply and nice! Fast forward to approx. 5pm, i started making dinner! prepping and what not. I had brought over a fry pan and a big pot. I boiled 3 big potatoes first... took almost 30 mins for it to soften -.- half way through, i went out to Fauboug to get some macarons as dessert :) when i got back i made the salad, mashed the potatoes, cooked the bacon and lastly... put the steaks in the bacon oil :) and sprinkled with a lot of seasoned salt ! It turned out better than i expected ! i'm so happy and proud of myself ! Also very happy that Austin and babe really enjoyed this meal. I put so much effort into planning it and actually making it! :) Ah, too bad the gravy didn't work out. Instant stuff is easy but so.. not easy at the same time. LOL or i guess i didn't read the instructions properly. Oh wells! the mash potato was the most popular thing aside from the steak :) I even brought some home for my family and they approved :D
We had a very long day, and didn't get the chance to watch "the vow" so he's coming over tomorrow! before that, i'm having lunch with marita! she has an interview in the afternoon as well so GOOD LUCK TO HER :) <3
It's been a very busy weekend! but i had so much fun :)
I don't think you guys really understand, how much i appreciate you guys. You guys make planning get togethers so easy. You're always up to doing things, even though it may not be something your particularly interested in, you still agree to go simply to catch up with friends. I think that's how it should be, it's not always about what activity were doing, it's just simply being with each other. True friends are hard to come by, and when they do... i'm sure to hold on tight :)

PS: Forgot to mention that it was Monique's very first time bowling in her life. Wow! It was very sweet of her to let us talk her into trying it! She was so good at the 5 pin! Score came very close to mine ;) LOL @ our bowling names. "Kyle, Klye's Friend, With Kyle, Not Kyle" + OliveQWong and BB :)
