Little Wonders: BBQ 2012

It's been a good weekend :)

We've been having over a week of blazing hot days which are perfect for BBQs. This year, I decided that we should plan a BBQ on our own. Mainly because Kyle is moving back to Sask. by the end of the month. My family usually have our annual BBQ in August. (Which BTW it's still happening!).

Starting off with Friday; Jordan and I went to try the new Starbuck's refresher. We both got the very berry hibiscus but it was very very disappointing. Luckily it was free!

Afterwards, we drove down to Soirette to get some much craved for macarons! He also brought a box of 12 for his crush ;). Followed by a short walk down to coal harbour so i can re-take some pictures. Last time we were here it was pretty cloudy. Shortly after, we headed to VGH to pick up babe! Thank you, Jordan for dropping us off. :) Plus, CONGRATS on getting back into BCIT !

Babe and I, chilled for a bit before heading over to MCD! I was craving for the new mediterranean chicken wrap! It was pretty delicious! LOL not to mention i had TWO WRAPS plus half of Charlie's fries! Never had that much MCD in one sitting. Fatty. We lay down for a bit before heading out to Richmond.

We meet up with babe's VCC friends at Nightmarket. (Old location) It was really nice to meet Sharon! especially since she's the only one i got to talk to via facebook. The were all really friendly and fun! I really enjoy being around them. The others actually got a lot of food and we all sat down to eat! :) We also saw some cosplay going on... but by the 2nd person we lost interest and left. She was quite... overweight and her skirt almost show her ass.... sorry but that's not attractive at all. We wandered around for a bit to see the stuff then left to get bubble tea!

When we got to Leisure, it was way too busy and also can't handle a group of 12. So we went across the street to "True'stea". It's a very nice actually! I think people usually call it Estea :) It's somewhere i've always wanted to go so it all worked out! Babe and i shared a honey green milk tea.. and later 2 more girls came join us. I had a really good time but had to cut it short at 11:30. We went back to babe's for a bit before heading home @1am :)

On saturday morning, we had to get up pretty early at 10am. We headed to Costco, Superstore and Rona to get some last minute BBQ food/supplies. We stopped at the Renfrew MCD for lunch >< While i was waiting for the food i overheard a lady beside me order ice. The manager said she has to come in with a bucket in order for them to give her the ice. I think that's pretty awesome :)

We head home to relax for a bit before prepping the skewers. :)
The ghetto grill always takes forever to start up... but we were all eating by like 5-530pm.
